Bridget was a guardian angel for me during the death of my father.  When I met Bridget, I was struggling with a conversation that I had had with my dad concerning dying while he was in the hospital.  My dad had dementia and we had never spoken about death or what his beliefs were about death.

Bridget was such a support to me and taught me about the important conversations to have so that there are no regrets.  She also helped me to realize that going through the experience of dying with a loved one (or anyone) is a privilege.  It is a sacred time – the crossing of the soul to the next world – it is sad and intimate and beautiful all at the same time.

Bridget and I shared some very special moments with my dad during the last month of his life. She sat with me and my dad on the day before he passed. It was such a special day – filled with tears and love – and I will cherish it always.

I miss my dad but I have no regrets about the end of his life here.  I feel that I spent quality time with him at the end and I truly believe that I would not feel that way if it was not for the support and encouragement that I received from Bridget.
